Ms. Faith Hill of Wayne State University has been named the recipient of this year’s award. This is her second time receiving the award.
From Ms. Hill:
“The Walter Roberts III Scholarship has helped me immensely as a disabled student with chronic neurological and autoimmune diseases, and I’m extremely grateful to have such incredible support from a classics institution such as the Michigan Classical Consortium, that so kindly chooses to help me and students like me to successfully complete such a vital part of my education journey. This scholarship has given me hope and further fueled my passion to study the classics and keep the field alive for many years to come. I hope through my studies I can honor the legacy of Walter Roberts III.”
